½ tbsp apple cider vinegar
½ tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp flax oil
Add or combine some of the following:
Dijon mustard, garlic, cayenne, a dash of honey or maple syrup, small amounts of fresh herbs e.g. marjoram, thyme, basil, oregano, parsley, dill etc.
Marinate raw vegetables e.g. mushrooms, spring onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, cauliflower, broccoli
Or marinate lightly steamed root vegetables e.g. kumara, carrot and vegetables such as beans, cauliflower and broccoli.
Pour the marinade on the vegetables while they are still hot and refrigerate till ready to serve.
