Marinated Asparagus

1 bunch asparagus spears

dressing:
1-1½ c. vinaigrette dressing with umbeboshi vinegar:

1-3 parts oil, to 1 part vinegar
add seasonings, herbs or spices of choice

Cook asparagus lightly i.e. simmered or steamed until bright green and tender.
Toss dressing on asparagus and marinate for several hours.
