Carob Fudge Frosting

¾ cup boiling water
½ cup dates
½ cup peanut butter
4 tbsp carob powder
1 ½ tsp vanilla
pinch of salt

Blend carob powder, water and dates until smooth.
Put in a bowl and mix in remaining ingredients.
Chill.
Use as icing or as a spread.
